Her 2nd favorite feature is that she can add all of her own recipes. Well, she can have me do it for her. We think your program is great, and we would be grateful for your help. Thank You.

Get Ready for Holiday Cooking and Eating
At this time of year more than any other, the kitchen becomes the focus of frenzied activity. It's also a time when it's important to take deep breaths, relax, and have fun. Here are a few tips to help you do just that.
  • Before you cook even one holiday recipe, remove kitchen clutter, making as much room as you can for holiday preparations. Cast a cold, hard eye on those kitchen counters. Pack away the chicken-shaped egg timer you haven't used since last Easter, or consolidate the four crocks of whisks and wooden spoons into one. Get out a large cardboard box and fill it with all the things you won't need, and stash the box in the attic or basement.
  • Attack the refrigerator. Discard everything that's past its prime, especially containers full of science experiments. Make space to chill bowls of cookie dough, batches of eggnog, and perishable food gifts you may receive.
  • Read recipes carefully and think through every special meal you'll cook. Organize your work area. Pay special attention to pan sizes and the space you will need for such activities as rolling dough and combining several bowls of ingredients.
  • Check to make sure you have plenty of plastic wrap, waxed paper, aluminum foil, and lock-top plastic bags or whatever you use most often for storing leftovers. If you use glass or plastic containers with snap-on lids, organize them so they're easy to find and that includes the lids that fit them.

Cooking Holiday or Cooking Vacation? It seems to be an ongoing argument this one - should we refer to a Cooking Holiday as a cooking holiday or a cooking vacation? From the various opinions I have gathered over the last eighteen months it would seem that it is only the UK that uses the term holiday in this context. Apart from the UK it would seem that for the rest of the world a holiday is a special day like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc - although just to confuse the issue we would also refer to these days as holidays (which is where the word originates: Holy Day). This debate about the correct meaning of these words would probably not have arisen before the advent of the internet. The internet is responsible for a lot all ready but one area I have not seen much discussion on is how it is changing the written word and word usage. Word usage is important to any business that has a web site because it is relevant words on the web page that will bring visitors to the web site via search engines like Google.
