Major Resource Kit
The department offers two undergraduate majors: Early Childhood Development and Education and Human Services . The Early Childhood Development and Education major is designed for students who plan on working with young children in inclusive school, family, and institutional settings. Certification options allow students to pursue careers as teachers of children birth to second grade and in early intervention for children with disabilities. The Human Services major offers two concentrations: Clinical Services and Administration and Family Policy . The Clinical Services concentration prepares students for careers in human services, prevention, and family support programs. It is designed for students who want "hands on" practical experiences in the field, culminating in a clinical internship. The Administration and Family Policy concentration emphasizes program development, management, advocacy, and social policy. Students enter careers or graduate study in public administration, community development and community psychology, family policy and family studies, family law, and social work. Interested students are invited to contact the department office, 111 Alison West, call 831-6500, or visit the department's web site at http://www.udel.edu/ifst

http://www.udel.edu/CSC/market.html
Major Resource Kit Marketing Professional education in Business Administration serves to develop the capabilities of students so that they may assume positions of leadership and responsibility at all levels of management in our society. Through its emphasis on undergraduate and graduate education as well as faculty research, the Department of Business Administration at the University of Delaware seeks to be a leader in the discovery, dissemination, and application of business related knowledge. The faculty of the Department of Business Administration develop each student through a variety of teaching techniques: lectures, case studies, role playing, seminars, and directed study. No single teaching technique is emphasized to the exclusion of others. To enhance the instructional process, the department faculty is actively involved with business and government leaders through research, seminars, and consulting activities. The business curriculum is designed to give students both a broad liberal arts background and a strong professional education. Within the Bachelor of Science (BS) program, students can major in marketing, management or operations. Students may also pursue a minor in international business and/or apply to the minors in management information/decision support systems, economics or a variety of other fields. The business program is accredited at both the graduate and undergraduate levels by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the sole agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the accrediting body of business schools.
