1. Waste 21 - Presentation and Objectives
Waste 21 - a national waste management plan Waste 21 is the Government's national waste management plan covering the years 1998 - 2004. The waste management plan is a follow-up of the Government's Report on Waste , presented in early 1998. The plan was debated in the Folketing on 28 th January 1999. This debate showed broad political agreement on the overall targets of Waste 21. Waste 21 sets the agenda for future waste management in Denmark. The plan gives a description of present waste management, initiatives already implemented, as well as new initiatives that ensure better and more efficient waste management than we have today. The initiatives of Waste 21 are also a signal to local councils of measures to be taken in the coming years which will be considered in the next generation of municipal waste management plans. Waste 21 meets the requirements of EU legislation with respect to waste management plans, which must be drawn up by all Member States. Citizens and enterprises must play a more active role Waste is a resource, and the challenge in future is to limit the loss of this resource as much as possible in an environmentally efficient and economic way. However, this can only be achieved if citizens and enterprises participate actively in waste management solutions.

In 1980 the dialogue between representatives of disabled persons and the authorities was strengthened by the formation of the Danish Disability Council. Devolvement of the care of disabled persons implied a desire both with the organisations for disabled persons and the Government that the dialogue about equal opportunities for disabled persons should be placed with an effective central body. This led to the establishment of the Danish Disability Council. The Equal Opportunities Centre for Disabled Persons The Danish Disability Council has published Danish disability policy - Equal opportunities through dialogue . Zn (1020 mg kg ), Cu (620 mg kg ) and Pb (370 mg kg ) showed the highest concentration, whereas Hg (0.6 mg kg ) showed the lowest concentration. DKK 2 million is to be allocated for the work performed by “The Blue Beret” association in support of personnel who have been deployed in international service. DKK 7 million of the Ministry of Defence budget is to be allocated each year for carrying out specific projects related to defence policy and security policy at the Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS). An additional DKK 5 million and equivalent of approximately 10 fulltime employees are designated for the establishment of an independent security studies research capacity, with focus on defence policy, organisationally linked to the Defence College.  Danish Defence’s personnel composition is to be continuously adapted, under consideration of Danish Defence’s task performance, personnel-related flexibility, recruitment potential, structural adjustments, and more. The Armed Forces are to be a modern, dynamic and attractive workplace, capable of recruiting both genders. The Armed Forces will therefore focus on ensuring that recruitment for the Armed Forces follows the general development in society, aiming at a broad and varied recruitment base representing the diversity of the Danish society. The requirements including physical and psychological requirements for joining the Danish Defence are to be maintained. An anonymous survey concerning attitudes to the mission and the local population will be carried out among Danish soldiers in international missions. The survey will also evaluate the training efforts of privates and officers to stressful tasks abroad in order to assess if the existing preparations and training is adequate. The result of the survey will be presented to the accord parties.

Kirsten Trampedach Introduction Christianity was officially introduced to Danish society during the tenth century The first churches, of which there is only archaeological evidence today, were wooden constructions (1). During the twelfth, and especially the thirteenth century a great number of stone churches were built. The most frequent building materials were granite boulders or ashlars, but calcareous tufa and limestone were also used, though less frequently. In the middle of the twelfth century the knowledge of brick production reached Denmark, and from this time bricks became the preferred building material, not only for new constructions, but also for changes and additions to existing architecture. Today, the exteriors of churches either show the bare building material or are limewashed (2). th century to the end of the 13 th th century to about 1500. Basically, the Romanesque construction consisted of a flat-ceilinged nave and choir with small windows. Sometimes an apse was added to the choir at the east end and a tower to the nave at the west end. During the Gothic period churches went through major changes. Vaults were constructed, windows enlarged and chapels, vestries and towers were added. All churches have probably been decorated with wall paintings (3). Today, visible paintings from the earliest period up to modern times are preserved in about 600 churches. Most of the decorations represent the Catholic period from the 11

    http://www.alpha.nu/Peter.htm
Peter Navarro-Alonso, saxophonist and composer It al began quite promising with music studies from the age of 8, but unfortunately, as a teenager he became lost to free-jazz and improvised music. Through an immense fascination of the double-bass he
found his way back to the narrow road and was in 1995 accepted as a classical saxophonist at The Royal Danish Academy of Music. After a couple of years the geriatric repertory of the Royal Academy became frustrating and he therefore took to studying composition as well. He studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music under the guidance of Niels Rosing-Schow from 1997 until his graduation in 2003. Furthermore, he has received tuition from Robert Saxton, Isabel Mundry, Zulema de la Cruz and Hans Abrahamsen. During this period he also submitted himself to exceedingly demanding saxophone studies with professor Francisco Martinez at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Madrid. In part due to these studies, he received the highest possible recognition when he graduated in 2000 as a saxophonist from both the Madrid Academy of Music (Grado Superior) as well as from The Royal Danish Academy of Music (Diploma). Subsequently he was accepted as a postgraduate soloist student at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, and concluded these studies with a highly praised saxophone recital at The Danish Royal Library. Shortly after, he was awarded a large scholarship from the Leonie Sonnings Music Foundation.

dulce : Danish uniform language composition engine
dulce is a tool that can be used to build interpreters of a special kind. Its distinctive characteristics are:
    • A uniform syntax is used, so a common scanner and parser is used in all implementations Here is a possible expression to output 3 lines with 5 random numbers each with x as an object that has a loop control operation next as a member (see below)
Semantic routines are written in C (with the extensions of GNU C) Routines in C libraries often have to be used in specified patterns e.g. internet access routines. This can be enforced by appropriate high-level language constructs and it will be easy to write the needed semantics as `glue' to the library routines.
Most users are expected to develop language contributions rather than entire languages Incremental implementation is expected to be the usual case. Our tool should thus be especially useful for domain specific language developers because such languages may depend on several domains of expertics and domain experts should have a natural interest in reuse.

Long-term changes in the abiotic environment and biotic components of ecosystems are often difficult or impossible to establish because old, baseline studies are either lacking or are purely qualitative, preventing robust statistical evaluation of comparative data. However, in the Danish estuary complex Isefjord- and Roskilde Fjord, an old study by Steemann-Nielsen (1951) reports on macroalgal species composition and abundance measured between 1941 and 1943 along several depth transects at different sites. This study also reported the attenuation of light and the concentrations of dissolved inorganic nitrogen in these estuarine waters.
