As the founder of her own “Institute of Domestic Archeology,” Boston-based Edythe Wright dissects, analyzes, and catalogs commonplace objects. Often inventing narratives and documentation, Wright’s displays are at once factual and highly imaginative. In a similar vein, Boston-based Brian Burkhardt fabricates a natural world of victims and survivors – species of insects, plants and animals whose functions and appearances he has altered. Using the language of display commonly found in natural history museums, the two artists remind us of how easily objects and natural beings can be personified.

Attention: The search engine below is best used to get detailed information on concerts and other events. If you're just interested in seeing what's coming to the Pavilion, or just checking a concert date or ticket price, we suggest you use the "Calendar Overview" document below.
Calendar Overview - Start Here!

doc (158k)
For detailed information: Scroll through our calendar pages by clicking the "next" buttom at the bottom of each page until you find the event you're looking for.
To use this Search Engine, start by selecting the date of the event. If you don't know the date, we recommend selecting an end date several months away. Then enter the name of the event or artist, such as Royal Winnipeg Ballet or John Hammond. If you don't succeed, check your spelling. You must reset the search date ranges before trying a second time.
If the name of your event is complicated, you might consider searching by keywords. If one keyword doesn't work, try another, or use a combination of keywords. NOTE: Do not use any punctuation, such as commas, between words.
Another option is to search the calendar by location. For example, if you want to see a list of upcoming concerts, choose a date range, then enter either Husby Performing Arts Center Great Hall, Husby Performing Arts Center Belbas Theater, or Husby Performing Arts Center Schulte Room.
