Rule 1: Always be careful around fire and make sure you are with a teacher or parent at all times.
Rule 2; Only cook in hot coals and not on direct flames.
Rule 3: Do not wave burning stick around.
Rule 4: Always make sure that your fire is out before you leave it. COOiNDA Damper.
Ingredients.
Self Raising flour, Water, Butter, Jam, Honey
A mixing bowl, Wooden Spoon, Damper Stick (a good damper stick is a metre long, straight and approximately 15 mm thick). Campfire.

Mix enough flour (1/2 cup per person) with water to make a firm dough. (Fig 1)
Roll the dough into a giant worm (fig 2) and wrap around he end of a good damper stick.
Cook over the hot coals, rotating the stick as the damper cooks. The slower it cooks the better it tastes. when the damper slides easily off the stick it is ready. Place butter, jam or honey into the hole and eat. Bon Appetit Back

Currently, I prefer to keep the knives that I use in a knife block, but for knives that I don't use too often or don't fit in the block, I store them in a tray placed in a drawer. I like to protect the blades with knife covers. My two favorites? Forschner's Edge-Mag and LamsonSharp's Knife Safe.
