London's leading music school for trumpet, guitar, studio production, saxophone, bass, drums, voice, piano and trombone
The London Centre of Contemporary Music is an independent, specialist music school that provides education of the highest possible quality. We are an accredited music school with courses in Funk, Jazz, Rock, Soul and Electronica. Student loans are availble for our 2 year degree level courses.
be different
What makes us different from any other music school or college is our belief that just playing an instrument well is no longer enough to survive as a musician. Today's career music-makers play live and in the studio, they write, arrange and produce. Some start their own record labels or publishing companies. At the London centre of contemporary music, here in the heart of a world famous music capital, we focus on the difference.
Our team of expert tutors and managers have worked and studied at some of the most prestigious music schools in the world including, Berklee College of Music (Boston), The Royal Academy of Music (London), Musicians Institute (Los Angeles and London) and the Drummers Collective (New York). Many have also gone on to work with an equally impressive range of groundbreaking artists including Horace Andy, Jaco Pastorius, Gorillaz, Linton Kwesi Johnson, George Michael, Annie Lennox, Amp Fiddler, Zero 7, Courtney Pine, Tina Turner, Steve Vai, George Clinton, Eric Clapton and Ian Dury and the Blockheads.

(Steve Miller, The Contemporary Christian Music Debate, p.102) (Leonard J. Seidel, Face the Music – contemporary music On Trial, pp. 4651)
http://www.av1611.org/cqguide.html
We get many requests asking our opinion of certain CCM performers or a certain type music. There is no way for us to keep up with every performer in CCM or every type of music. We put together these simple, common-sense, Bible guidelines. If you're concerned about your music, see if it passes these Bible guidelines. After listening to hundreds of CCM tapes, CD's, and videos, at least 95% of Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) does not pass these Bible guidelines. We have also created a list of good, Christ-honoring, Christian Music with RealAudio sound clips you can link to at the end of this page.
NOTE: Throughout this tract are links to various pictures and RealAudio sound clips. Some of this – you just have to see and hear! When you see links with a image; it is a picture link. When you see links with a image; it is a RealAudio sound link. You will need the free RealAudio player for the sound clips. If you do not have the RealAudio player you can download it now.
