Alumni: Please help us update our records Program CT Scholars is a summer program that invites talented and motivated middle school and high school students from Connecticut 's public schools to attend Choate Rosemary Hall. The classes are varied and the faculty/student ratio is 1:10 . Our summer resident faculty is comprised of Choate teachers as well as an excellent group of educators from private and public schools who are committed to teaching. One-on-one tutoring is available from our faculty and teaching interns. CT Scholars attend school with a diverse student body from 27 states and 32 countries. This program is a collaborative effort funded by school districts, corporate and foundation giving, and financial aid from Choate Summer Programs along with a minimal family and student contribution. Criteria Candidates should show academic talent and interest in advancing their studies. They should not only demonstrate a high level of ability in their school curriculum but a high level of curiosity, motivation, determination, and achievement. Candidates should exhibit the maturity, social skills, sense of responsibility, independence, and self-discipline necessary to benefit from a boarding school experience. | |
