Our clients typically ask for technical communicators who have substantial technical experience in the computer industry. To improve your chances of finding fulfilling work, we've compiled the following long but by no means exhaustive list of skills that are of interest to our current and potential clients. Please ensure that you include in your resume those entries from this list (and others of which they remind you) with which you have experience, so that we can work more effectively to secure for you the staff and/or contract opportunities you seek. For each skill with which you have experience, it would be useful to know:

    FTL technology
The Faster Than Light phenomenon is possible thorugh the principles of workholes, and subject to severe limitations and major power requirements. With fusion power and biologically based supercomputers FTL has become a part of daily life for millions of people through the universe, linking the settlements together.
    FTL travel

    Interstellar Infrastructure
    Intertial dampeners
One of the backbones of spaceships, the intertial dampeners make life and travel bearable for crew and cargo. The dampeners can be used to generate an artificial gravity field on board the ship, totally eliminating the degradation of the human body due to zero G. Secondly they can compensate for felt accleration, a huge benefit with the high output STL drives . Compensators reduce the felt G of a planned maneuver by as much as 75% up to some limit. For maneuvering the flight computer is unaware of until it is happening (most desperate evasive actions) the dampeners take a short while to cut in, which means that combat pilots or scouts navigating dangeours asteroid fields must still be able to take punishing Gs without blacking out.
    Power sources
    Fusion
Fusion is the major contender in the power generating business, the fusion of various H and He isotopes producing huge amounts of cheap and clean energy in form of heat and electricity. This form of nuclear energy has completely pushed fission off the market, thus avoiding all the dangers and problems with waste.

Digitization and Its Discontents: Digital Rights Management, Access Protection, and Free Markets Michael A. Einhorn, Ph.D. Senior Advisor The Brattle Group 1.  INTRODUCTION Digital rights management and access protection entails the operation of software or hardware control that can monitor, regulate, and price uses of digital files that contain protected content or software. Electronic monitoring of a protected file is generally administered now through attached rendering software or containment that ensures  access only to authorized users. Depending on the price that a user pays, protective owners may also limit use by number of plays, duration of access, temporary or partial uses, lending rights, and the number of devices on which the file may be accessed. Containment can also be complemented with watermarks or flags that signal whether the work is copy-protected. Finally, hardware programming can reduce the risks of tampering with vulnerable software by placing detection capabilities in the chip or processor rather than in the enabling software itself.  legal protection of underlying works from unauthorized reproduction, distribution, derivation, public performance, or display.
