Welcome to International Education Research Foundation (IERF)!
IERF, the pioneer in credentials evaluation, was established in 1969 in the State of California as a non-profit, public-benefit agency. We are a Charter Member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES), a recognizing body for credentials evaluation services in the U.S. We are also affiliated with a large number of other professional associations IERF's mission is to research and disseminate information on world educational systems and to facilitate the integration of individuals educated outside the United States into the U.S. educational environment and work force. We accomplish this by: Conducting and supporting comprehensive, quality research on world educational systems Sharing our research findings with the international community Providing research-based credentials evaluations and related services. We achieve this mission through our Credentials Evaluation Service and our Research Program Our Credentials Evaluation Service provides assistance in interpreting the educational backgrounds of people who have studied outside the U.S. and who need statements of U.S. educational equivalencies. If you have any questions about the process you may contact the U.S. Department of Education's Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4FED-AID (1-800-433-3243). Please follow the Sequence of Events below in order to make a US Graduate Student Loan Application at Oxford: 1. You will need to begin by completing a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) This is an eight page form which will require you to provide relevant information on finance, family situation, citizenship details and so on. You can complete this form online. Access to it is through the US Department of Education's website. You will need to use the code for the Oxford college you have been accepted at and the codes are listed at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/fotw0506/fslookup.htm. All colleges except Templeton have their own loan code, students from this college should contact the International Office. The FAFSA can be completed at any stage after 1 January in the year you intend the loan to start. Once you have completed the form, you will need to send it to the Federal Student Aid Program.
