    Highlights
In the United States, as many as 10 million females and 1 million males are fighting a life and death battle with an eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia. Approximately 25 million more are struggling with binge eating disorder (Crowther et al., 1992; Fairburn et al., 1993; Gordon, 1990; Hoek, 1995; Shisslak et al., 1995). You are invited to attend the Eating Disorder Support Group (for women only) every Monday evening from 7-8 pm. It is held in Room 103 of the Suzanna Wesley Building, 512 S Logan St. in Helena. For more info call Sarah at 457-9088
    The Prevalence of Eating Disorders
Because of the secretiveness and shame associated with eating disorders, many cases are probably not reported. In addition, many individuals struggle with body dissatisfaction and sub-clinical disordered eating attitudes and behaviors. For example, it has been shown that 80% of American women are dissatisfied with their appearance (Smolak, 1996).

In recent years, Articles in The Law Review have addressed a broad range of topics, including healthcare issues, environmental law, land rights in Israel, voting rights in North Carolina, securities law, habeas corpus cases, and many others. Also, The Law Review is the only journal in the nation to publish annually an issue dedicated to decisions of the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals regarding patent law, international trade, government contracts, and Native American law. The Law Review is particularly proud of sponsoring symposia and other special projects. Some of The Law Review's most recent projects have concerned a symposium on the future of electronic cash, a conference on the death penalty, and the Rehnquist Court's jurisprudence on race. The Law Review receives dozens of articles per week from outside authors including judges, professors, and practitioners, and also considers its members' papers for publication. Student-written Notes and Comments discussing cutting-edge legal issues are published in each issue.

    http://www.firstmonday.org/issues/issue4_11/fleck/
The Internet revolution arrived faster, and with more complications, than many academic institutions expected. The rapid development of search engines and the expanded use of the Web by all types of organizations increased the demand for Internet-related services on college campuses. To assess the impact of these changes, a questionnaire was mailed to selected computer center directors listed in the 1998 Higher Education Directory (U.S.). The questionnaire asked respondents various institutional demographic questions and how Internet access is provided to students, faculty, administrators, and staff. The paper presents survey results in text and graphical format. The paper includes graphs that display the rates of increases (or decrease) regarding access and usage of e-mail, the World Wide Web, telnet and other Internet features. Comparisons, where appropriate, are made between public and private institutions. Respondents also provided information on access issues, access policy development, and policy deployment. URLs are given for several academic Internet use policies. Specific concerns and issues dealing with access are listed. The authors provide recommendations for policy formulation and dissemination.
