While pelleted diets, in theory, are thought to meet the nutritional needs of our birds as best understood at this time, many manufacturers still recommend providing fresh produce to supplement the diet. Fruits and vegetables add tremendous nutritional power to your bird's menu, and they act as challenging psychological devices to keep curious, busy beaks active and content. I lived happily with mummy and daddy for a few months but I was a bit lonely during the day when they went out to work. I didn't make much noise and sat around all day bored.... Then Buzby arrived to brighten up my day. He was so handsome I loved him immediately (although I did like to take his food away from him) Now, everyday when mummy and daddy are out we play games, sing and make a mess. In the evenings we fly about and create havoc in the house. Life is so much fun now I have a friend to play with. Today Buzz and I agreed to model some photos for you to look at. We believe the extra care and expense we put into feeding our birds insures healthy, happy, brilliantly colored birds.
