(ABA) is the body responsible for managing the sport of Biathlon in Australia. The ABA is an incorporated association under the Victoria Associations Incorporation Act 1981 The ABA is a member federation of the International Biathlon Union (IBU), the body responsible for the management of Biathlon worldwide. The IBU recognises the ABA as the governing body for Biathlon in Australia. The ABA is therefore responsible for the nomination of athletes to represent Australia at World Cup and World Championship level.
