"Early Music" is generally considered to be music written in the Baroque period or earlier (i.e., about 1750 or earlier). There are enough sites which specialize in topics related to music of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods to warrant a dedicated page of links, though it should be remembered that sites listed on other link pages, especially commercial sites, also have significant amounts of information pertinent to early music as well.

129. Classical Net - Composer Data
Extensive link collection.
http://www.classical.net/music/composer/
Composer Dates These lists are extensive, but not comprehensive. These are all composers from the database I keep for my CD collection. For instance, it has been brought to my attention many times that my lists omit Carl Orff (1895-1982), except for the graphical timelines. This is largely because I don't have a recording of Carmina Burana in my collection. There are likely some other more modern, choral-only composers that are not represented either, as well as many experimental composers, and even perhaps a few composers that you believe absolutely should be included but aren't. For more general information on composers, including biographies and recommended recordings, see the Master Composer Index Composer Timelines - List #1 List #2 - Birthday List Sorted by Day Of Year Including Death Dates (40K) List #3 - Death Day List Sorted by Day Of Year Including Birthdays (31K) List #4 List #5 - Chronological List Of Composers Sorted by Year of Birth (39K) List #6 - List Of Composers Sorted by Age At Death (26K) List #7 - List Of Composers Sorted by Nationality (36K) List #8 Also see:

Fernando Sor
The Spaniard Fernando Sor (1778-1839) was one of the greatest of the composers for the classical guitar. In addition to many "serious" works for one or two guitars, he composed a large number of studies intended for players of lesser virtuosity. Untold numbers of students have worked their way through these studies, which satisfy the elusive goal of providing memorable pieces that, at the same time, enhance the skill and knowledge of the practitioner. Andrés Segovia selected a set of twenty of those studies, each emphasizing a particular aspect of technique, and these are now some of the best known of Sor's works. Versions of those studies have been reworked and edited for the MIDI format by Ray Izumi on The Guitarist site.

Welcome to our revised web site offering information and tools for explorers, training courses for homoeopaths and much more.
Homeopathy is the youngest of all medical faculties and it is growing. It is modern not only by its virtue of being young, but more importantly by the revolutionary medical philosophy that supports this science. The faculty is outgrowing some of the orthodox concepts and out dated practices. Homeopathy is turning more scientific, more reliable, more user friendly, and more effective.
The evolving trend within domain of the classical homoeopathy is more easily approachable for the practitioners world over. The classical homoeopathy should no more be a fantasy or a rare happening but more grounded, more practical and it should be predictably used by every average practitioner in the world.

Classical mechanics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
In physics Classical mechanics is one of the two major sub-fields of study in the science of mechanics , which is concerned with the motions of bodies , and the forces that cause them. The other sub-field is quantum mechanics . Roughly speaking, classical mechanics was developed in the 400 years since the groundbreaking works of Brahe Kepler , and Galileo , while quantum mechanics developed within the last 100 years, starting with similarly decisive discoveries by Planck Einstein , and Bohr The notion of “classical“ may be somewhat confusing, insofar as this term usually refers to the era of classical antiquity in European history . While many discoveries within the mathematics of that period remain in full force today, and of the greatest use, the same cannot be said about its "science". This in no way belittles the many important developments, especially within technology, which took place in antiquity and during the Middle Ages in Europe and elsewhere. However, the emergence of classical mechanics was a decisive stage in the development of
