This group includes officers performing duties ranging from trainee to advanced law enforcement, investigative, and compliance-oriented activities to administrative and programmatic activities at the manager and director level. Officer roles are authorized by the Code of Virginia to exercise full police powers, either within a limited or statewide jurisdiction, and most are responsible for carrying weapons.
