Why is American Milk Banned in Europe?
  • Genetically-engineered bovine growth hormone (rBGH) in milk increases cancer risks.
American dairy farmers inject rBGH to dairy cows to increase milk production. European nations and Canada have banned rBGH to protect citizens from IGF-1 hazards. Monsanto Co., the manufacturer of rBGH, has influenced U. S. product safety laws permitting the sale of unlabeled rBGH milk. (Monsanto would lose billions of dollars if rBGH were banned in America.) Q. Is there any milk not contaminated with rBGH and IGF-1?
NO rBGH Q. What about cheeses?
Imported European cheeses are safe since Europe has banned rBGH. Follow the links below for details:

Letter to the British medical Journal reviews some tobacco, medical, and public policy history good evidence showed that smoking causes lung cancer; the media's response to this information was initially resistant; specious arguments were used to detract from the real issue, which confused the general public and lessened its concern; after 40 years there has been little change in smoking rates.

Yes. It could save your life. Pap smears are used primarily to detect cancer of the uterine cervix or precancerous conditions - abnormalities of the cervix that may lead to cancer. Since its introduction in the early 1940's, the Pap smear is credited with saving tens of thousands of women's lives and decreasing deaths from cervical cancer by more than 70%. The key is early detection made possible by microscopic examination of a specially treated sample of cervical cells. Every woman should have an annual Pap smear as part of a complete pelvic examination beginning when she becomes sexually active or reaches 18 years of age and continuing for the rest of her life. Laryngeal Cancer
Signs, symptoms and indicators
Contributing risk factors Other conditions that may be present Prevention ... cancer is a relatively rare tumor that affects males in 80% of cases. Cancers of the larynx account for approximately 2-5% of diagnosed cancers. Most cases occur between the ages of 50 and 70. Air passes through the pharynx and then the larynx on the way to the windpipe (trachea) and into the lungs. Food passes through the pharynx on the way to the esophagus . The larynx has a small piece of tissue over it, called the epiglottis, to keep food from going into it or into the air passages.
The larynx contains the vocal cords, which vibrate and make sound when air is directed against them. The sound echoes through the pharynx , mouth, and nose to make a person’s voice.
There are three main parts of the larynx: the glottis (the middle part of the larynx where the vocal cords are located); the supraglottis (the tissue above the glottis); and the subglottis (the tissue below the glottis). The subglottis connects to the trachea, which takes air to the lungs.
Cancer
of the larynx is a disease in which cancerous malignant ) cells are found in the tissues of the larynx. It is most commonly found in people who smoke.
