And to show that this is no empty boasting for the present occasion, but real tangible fact, you have only to consider the power which our city possesses and which has been won by those very qualities which I have mentioned. George Bush's resume by Kelly Kramer
August 21st, 2003 Welcome CNN viewers. In case the obviously different visual style and different domain don't give it away, this site is in no way affliated with recallbush.com. Furthermore, I didn't write the resume. I simply posted it. I strongly encourage you to read other articles on my weblog before jumping to conclusions about me or my political beliefs. For those who tend to take things too literally, this resume is clearly satire. It is trying to make a point by highlighting salient points of George Bush's career. If you're looking for a petition to recall Bush, you've come to the wrong place. You're also barking up the wrong tree. As far as I know, the constitution has no provisions for recalling the president. If you insist, visit this site June 15th, 2003 This page is now highly ranked by Google and I've been getting quite a bit of mail on the topic. I'm taking the unusual step of modifying previously published content because the google link means that people are unlikely to read other parts of my weblog first. I'd like to make something very clear: I did not write this resume. As I clearly state below and in the title of this page, it was written by Kelly Kramer. I found her email address on the web and asked her for permission to repoost. She was kind enough to grant me permission.

George Bush Senior: Battle against a shadowy enemy
Former American President George Bush Senior has warned that America's war against terrorism is likely to be a long, drawn-out conflict. In an interview for the Breakfast With Frost programme - to be broadcast on BBC One on Sunday morning - Mr Bush Senior said the current crisis was very different to the Gulf War in which he headed the international coalition to expel Iraqi forces from Kuwait.
It's not going to be a 100-hour ground war, or a very effective TV air war
George Bush Senior The ex-president echoed the US Government's prediction that - unlike Desert Storm - the present campaign was unlikely to mirror the quick, clean kill that Washington and its allies scored in 1991. "It's not going to be a 100-hour ground war, or a very effective TV air war - it's going to be a different kind of a battle to win, but there's a determination, amongst world leaders, that we will win," he said.

It may have been the guy in the hood teetering on the stool, electrodes clamped to his genitals. Or smirking Lynndie England and her leash. Maybe it was the smarmy memos tapped out by soft-fingered lawyers itching to justify such barbarism. The grudging, lunatic retreat of the neocons from their long-standing assertion that Saddam was in cahoots with Osama didn't hurt. Even the Enron audiotapes and their celebration of craven sociopathy likely played a part. As a result of all these displays and countless smaller ones, you could feel, a couple of months back, as summer spread across the country, the ground shifting beneath your feet. Not unlike that scene in The Day After Tomorrow , then in theaters, in which the giant ice shelf splits asunder, this was more a paradigm shift than anything strictly tectonic. No cataclysmic ice age, admittedly, yet something was in the air, and people were inhaling deeply. I began to get calls from friends whose parents had always voted Republican, "but not this time." There was the staid Zbigniew Brzezinski on the staid NewsHour with Jim Lehrer sneering at the "Orwellian language" flowing out of the Pentagon. Word spread through the usual channels that old hands from the days of Bush the Elder were quietly (but not

The Impeachment of George W. Bush Downing Street Memo Treasongate Impeach Bush now! You said it ... and then that little tongue came out; that weird way you stick your tongue out between your lips like the little kid who knows he's fibbing. Like a snake licking a rat. George W. Bush is a pathological liar. He shows his contempt for the American people whenever he says anything in public. Why do you think he smirks so often? It's because he knows he's lying and he's amused that everyone else (so he thinks) is a fool for believing him. In particular Bush lied to the people of the United States and to the entire world when he declared in late 2002 and early 2003 that Iraq had developed and deployed "weapons of mass destruction" and was an imminent threat to its neighbors and to the U.S. itself. ... George W. Bush and the members of his administration argued, day after day, week after week, month after month, that Iraq was in possession of massive stores of mass destruction weapons that would be delivered to Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda for use against the United States. ... "We have sources that tell us," said George W. Bush on February 8 2003, "that Saddam Hussein recently authorized Iraqi field commanders to use chemical weapons."

THE ROLLING STONES accuse US President GEORGE W BUSH of being "full of sh*t" on their new album.
The track 'Sweet Neo Con', one of the tracks on the forthcoming 'A Bigger Bang', was already known to be fiercely anti-Bush.
However, frontman Mick Jagger's disdain for the American leader has now been confirmed, with Rolling Stones singer revealing some of the lyrics in an interview with Newsweek.
But the singer has revealed that guitarist Keith Richards, who lives in the US, is a bit worried about the direct nature of the words.
An extract from 'Sweet Neo Con' features the following lines: "You call yourself a Christian, I call you u a hypocrite/You call yourself a patriot, well I think you're full of sh*t."
