The official Government website provides general background information on Bulgaria (geography, history, economy, etc.). Users can also call up transcripts of speeches by the Prime Minister and members of the Government, together with a biography of each, and a detailed exposition of their political programme. Various public information documents can also be downloaded, in particular Bulgaria's strategy for accession to the European Union. A portal allows users to go directly to the site of each Ministry. A weekly news service keeps visitors up to speed on national news. The site also has a search facility.
