Remit The aim of the Committee is to promote the use of audio-visual materials in the teaching of archaeology at all levels of education through the following objectives: - reviewing audio-visual materials to assess their suitability for use in teaching promoting wider and more effective use of audio-visual materials in all levels of education administering awards for the best examples of audio-visual materials in archaeology encouraging the preservation of appropriate audio-visual materials for posterity stimulating the production of new audio-visual materials where necessary
Membership In addition to representatives of the CBA and BUFVC, members of the Committee are drawn from the following organisations and areas of work: - the British Archaeological Awards Committee (BAA) the Learning and Teaching Support Network for higher education (LTSN) media sectors: film and video production, new media design and creation
