NBC's cumulative audience in 1996 was a whopping 222.7% higher than its Barcelona 1992 audience. Viewership rose in several categories including increases of 46% for all adults aged 50 or older, 35% for women in the 35+ age group, and 31% for women in the 18+ age group. Viewership among young people grew at a much slower rate. For all viewers in the 12- to 24-year-old group there was only a 2% increase. Different strokes for different folks . . .
