Sunday lessons: Beginning Ballroom Dance Lessons will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays in either the Kansas Union Ballroom or the Kansas Room. Sunday dance lessons will focus on beginning social dancers. We will then have a period of social dancing to practice our newly acquired moves or just to have fun. The class on Sundays will begin a different dance every one or two weeks. These lessons will primarily be taught by student teachers from the advanced classes. Wednesday Lessons Advanced Ballroom Dance Lessons will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Camelot II (1117 Massachusetts Street). Wednesday lessons will be geared toward social dancers who already have experience with the dance being taught. As with the beginning lessons, dances will be rotated, each being taught for 2 weeks. These lessons will also be followed by social dancing. Friday Lessons (Latin Night) Due to the increasing popularity of the latin dances, such as Salsa and Merengue, we have dedicated an entire night to Latin Dancing. Lessons start at 7:30 p.m. The location for Fridays is still being worked on.
