This photo was taken behind the mango trees at the back of the school. We have a variety of plants around the school, ranging from ferns to gum trees. One area of the school is filled with low-growing palm trees. Pathways lead through this area, into the middle of our little palm forest, but parents, don't be worried about falling branches this area is out of bounds. As we are so close to natural bush land areas, the wildlife living near the school is diverse. We have Scrub Turkeys, Lorikeets, Ducks, Ibises, Masked Plovers, Blue Tongues, Frill Necks, Iguanas, Skinks, Frogs, Ant Lions and Fish. We like to make sure that the animals living near our school are left alone. We take pride in having these creatures at our school. Our school has been renovated. No Mac and Me
As an update on my previous post Mac and Me , I just wanted to let everyone know that the deal on OSX-e.com fell through. I was looking at getting an Apple iPod for a rediculous price, and the deal turned out to be too good to be true. The person that was arranging the deal, named Dremation on the forum, claims he got payments from stolen accounts and his paypal account was flagged and until he works everything out by giving refunds and going through a complete investigation, he cannot send any product out. So I guess I am not entering the Mac generation, and good thing I did not brag too much about it. However, this does not take away from the fact that osx-e.com has a pretty great site and forum, just no great mac deals anymore. 1 comment August 23rd, 2005
Mac and Me
Anyways, the purpose of this post is more to show off a great site and forum that I have started visiting: OSX-E.com . It has lots of great information, and the members of the forum seem really nice. I am even thinking of picking up a few things from them and their contacts as they have some Apple products at an amazing price, and since price is the only thing that has ever stopped me from getting an iPod and a Powerbook, this place might just fix that, but I will let you know how it goes. 1 comment August 22nd, 2005
