In the Main Exhibit Center visitors will se a number of displays, including a 1943 L-2M "Grasshopper", F-101B and T-28 instrument trainers, along with several aircraft engines. THE FIRST FLIGHTS AIRPORTS AND FLYING FIELDS AVIATION INDUSTRY ... NATO AGGRESSION MUSEUM OF YUGOSLAV AVIATION It was founded in 1957 at the Command of Air Forces. The new building at the Belgrade airport was opened for visitors on 21 May, 1089 and since then over 600.000 of visitors has seen its exhibition. Collection includes over 200 aircraft - from aero plane IVAN SARIC, to ORAO, MIG 21 and SUPER GALEB G-4. A few exhibits are world rarities, among which the most interesting is FIAT G 50-BIS , Italian fighter from the beginning of the World War II – which is the only saved specimen in the world. The Collection of fighters from the World War II is also very important, containing almost all aircraft of that type that flew over Europe. Visitors can see about 50 aircraft in the building and about 10 in the park around it. Museum has a library with over 10.000 volumes of literature, magazines and archive of technical documentation. In photographic library there are about 250.000 photographs and negatives, and video library has a few hundred hours of valuable material. Contemporary movie theatre, children¢s restaurant, model aircraft shop and exhibition space are integral part of the Museum. According to opinion of world experts this Museum is among ten largest aviation museums in the world, and in Yugoslavia is one of the most visited for years already.

The exhibition rooms have been arranged to represent military, civil, and wartime aviation. There are guns, uniforms, photos, facts, stories, and recovered aircraft parts, just to start. The site for the museum is perfect because the building is near the present day airfield and was constructed as part of the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) station in 1944. Location Located just to the right of Ronaldsway Airport in the south of the island, between Ballasalla and Castletown. The one-storey white building is marked with an aeroplane propeller on the side. By Vehicle: Travel to the airport along the A5, where it is located between Ballasalla and Castletown. The Museum has its own entrance to the right of the airport. By Bus: The airport can be reached by the following bus routes: 1, 1C, 2, 2A, and 8.
