Volleyball Stunned by Fort Lewis

PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado State University-Pueblo volleyball team dropped its second straight match in RMAC play to Fort Lewis Saturday afternoon. The 29-31, 20-30, 27-30 setback evened the Pack’s record at 6-6 overall, 2-2 in the RMAC. The Skyhawks picked up their second win of the year, improving to 2-10 (2-2).

ALAMOSA, Colo. – The CSU-Pueblo women’s soccer continued its run of tough-luck play, with a 2-1 loss at RMAC-foe Adams State Friday. The loss drops the Pack under .500 for the first time since the end of the 2003 season, with a 3-4-1 record, overall, including 1-3-0 in conference play. The Grizzlies improve to 3-5-0 and 1-2-0 in the RMAC with the win.

GENERAL INFORMATION MISSION STATEMENT It is the role of the Monmouth University Department of Athletics to provide student-athletes with the opportunity to develop their full potential while safeguarding their physical welfare in an environment that promotes both high academic standards, development of leadership capabilities, and sportsmanship. These objectives are best achieved through a broad-based program that provides equal opportunity for all its student-athletes regardless of race, color, age, sex, disability, religion, ethnic or national origin, or sexual orientation and which is administered in accordance with the highest principles of intercollegiate athletics competition. STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE It is the intent of Monmouth University to comply with all applicable rules and regulations of the NCAA. Monitoring will be provided to ensure compliance and to identify and report to the NCAA instances in which compliance was not achieved. Members of the staff, student-athletes, and other individuals and groups representing the institution's athletics interest shall comply with all applicable rules and regulations. Coaches and staff members are required to report any and all violations. Additionally, coaches and staff members shall provide assistance and encouragement to any student-athlete that wishes to report potential violations. Coaches are instructed to direct student-athletes that may have any rules questions or compliance concerns to the associate athletics director in charge of compliance.

  • BC Athletics will endeavour to fund 100% of the travel and entry fees for athletes selected to represent BC Athletics at National Championships, Multi Sport Games and National Team Selection competitions. A financial limit will be established for each BC Team competition. This may mean that some athletes who achieved the standards for selection may not receive the travel and entry fee support from BC Athletics.
    Selected athletes will be responsible for the cost of their own accommodation and meals.
    All selected athletes MUST pay BC Team Fees. The Team fees are:
    $250.00 for the first out of province BC Team for the 12 month period April 1 to March 31 of each year. Any subsequent out of province BC Team that an athlete is selected to in that same 12 month period, the fee is $125.00 per team.
    For In-Province BC Team Competitions the Team Fee is $100.00 for the first in-province BC Team. Any subsequent in-province team that an athlete is selected to in that same 12 month period, the fee is $50.00 per team.

    Requirements for freshmen
    Prospective students should be aware of the eligibility requirements for entering freshmen. To be eligible to participate a student must be admitted to UTPB and meet two of the following three criteria:
    1. Score an 860 on the SAT or an 18 on the ACT. The test must be taken on a national testing date.
    2. Graduate from high school with a 2.0 GPA on a 4-point scale.
    3. Graduate in the top 50% of your high school class.

        PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVES OF INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS University Mission Statement The essential mission of the university is the development of Christian character within the philosophy and framework of genuine scholarship. Northwest Nazarene University is a Christian comprehensive university with a liberal arts philosophy of education. NNU if fully committed to an educational process that pursues both intellectual and spiritual development. This pursuit is centered firmly on the Person of Jesus Christ, and is designed to instill a habit of mind that enables each student to become God's creative and redemptive agent in today's world. The task of the university, as an institution of the Church of the Nazarene, will be to serve the church by providing a educated laity and ministry, loyal to Christ, and by emphasizing the Wesleyan doctrine of perfect love. Its theological program, based upon the doctrines set forth in the Manual of the Church of the Nazarene, will conserve, maintain, advocate, and promulgate the New Testament doctrine of entire sanctification or Christian holiness. Philosophy Intercollegiate athletics shall be an integral part of the educational program at Northwest Nazarene University.
