members and supporters toasted the holiday season at the AWIB annual holiday party . The fun and festivities included great food, exciting raffle prizes, a grab bag exchange, catching up with old friends and making new ones. The party was held at the loft of AWIB Board Vice Chair, Julie Azuma. November 26, 2002
A reception was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for Asian Women In Business members. The evening began with a private viewing of the highly popular "Richard Avedon: Portraits" exhibit featuring about 180 of the artist's work, spanning his entire career. The viewing was followed by a lovely reception in the Peachtree Court where members had an opportunity to network and make new connections. November 21, 2002

held a workshop Express Yourself in Public: Effective Presentation Skills to Recharge your Business ." Conducted by industry expert and executive trainer Tessie Tiaba of AIG , the workshop dealt with how to create the maximum impact while making a public presentation. Besides getting valuable tips on various steps to a winning presentation, participants also got to practise their newly acquired skills during the workshop. Due to the overwhelming demand for the workshop, Tessie will conduct this workshop again in March. The event was held at Metlife in Manhattan.
