Aruba is approximately 19.2 miles long and 4 miles across, and has a total area of 193 sq km (122 sq mi) which makes it slightly larger than Washington, DC in size. Aruba has a population of nearly 80.000 people and has a tropical climate with an average daily temperature of 27 degree Celsius with a cooling northern trade winds.
