(ACMSE) arkansas Center for Mathematics and Science education, and Training. added Brad Roberts secondary (7 12) mathematics specialist to our staff.

Math Specialist
Brad Roberts
7 - 12 math specialist Arkansas' teachers and administrators are working to improve mathematics teaching and enhance the learning of all students. This is a journey that includes many steps along the way: data analysis, curriculum alignment, selection of materials and strategies, training of individuals, implementation of programs, and constant reevaluation of every previous step. To help schools in the vicinity of UCA to strengthen their math program, the Arkansas Center for Mathematics and Science Education (ACMSE) at the University of Central Arkansas has been awarded a grant from the Arkansas Department of Education, and with that grant, we have added Brad Roberts: secondary (7 - 12) mathematics specialist to our staff.
Bradley Roberts always knew that he wanted to be involved in education. He earned a B.S.E. from UCA, then he attended ASU where he received an M.S.E. and recently he attended Haring University and received his Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership. After nineteen years teaching mathematics at Bald Knob High School, Bradley launched a new career as an administrator, serving as Assistant Superintendent in Midland School District.
In this role Bradley will have the opportunity to encourage many high schools to implement some of his ideas in the use of technology. The best opportunity for achieving his goals will be as an advocate between the classroom teacher and the administrators. "There is no limit to the uses of technology in every area," he said. The challenges that he sees are educators' attitudes toward change and technology, and the time needed to keep things working properly.

Year after year, graduating seniors in Interdisciplinary Studies say the high level of accessibility of their professors is what they value most about their UW-Green Bay experience. Our students enjoy the same quality of teaching and one-on-one access as their on-campus counterparts because the same UW-Green Bay faculty who teach on campus also teach the Extended degree courses. Currently, about 35 UW-Green Bay professors from an array of disciplines teach in the Extended Degree Program. Breznay, Peter T.
