An International Journal for Reviews and Communications in Heterocyclic Chemistry
Founded by:
Tetsuji Kametani

See editorial board for all editors information
Description
Since its launch in 1973, Heterocycles has provided a platform for the rapid exchange of research in the areas of organic, pharmaceutical, analytical, and medicinal chemistry of heterocyclic compounds. In addition to communications, papers and reviews, a special section of the journal presents newly-discovered natural products whose structure has recently been established.
Another section is devoted to the total synthesis of previously documented natural products with heterocyclic ring systems.
Due to the fact that the journal is able to publish articles within two months of receipt of the manuscripts, researchers in this field can obtain up-to-date information on heterocyclic research by reading

Everett Foundation Fellowship The Department of Chemistry offers a research based Master of Science (M.S.) degree. This master's degree requires successful completion of two advanced graduate chemistry courses, regular participation in Chemistry Department seminar programs, and a research thesis based on original research carried out under the direction of a member of the graduate faculty. Students choose a research advisor during their first semester in the Master's program and are encouraged to begin hands-on laboratory work as early as possible. Graduate students select a research thesis committee for additional guidance and have several opportunities to display their research progress to their M.S. committee members and peers.
