Maybe most of the people that do math and/or algebra don't enjoy animation but I've got to say it's a great way to learn. Also, trying to learn algebra can be boring for me if it looks just like a textbook, but I found that when the lessons are animated, I actually learn more! For those of you that like to learn math or algebra in the more serious way, or if you like to have serious discussions about algebra (boring to me!) then there are a number of sites that I have included for you to check out. animation games math tables interactive flash answers calculated quizzes EASY TO USE!! Welcome to Algebra Online at St. Louis Community College at Meramec. If you are planning to enroll in an internet Algebra course ( or have already enrolled in an internet course ), then please familiarize yourself with the course information found within these pages. Although this is a mathematics course, there are certain
hardware, software and personality issues that you must
address.
Course Overview Out of Area Students System Requirements Personal Computer Skills ... College Algebra Schedule Course Overview The vast majority of the course content will be learned as you interact with the Interactive Mathematics courseware. The Personal Academic Notebook (PAN), containing CDs, the Internet Client Software and validation disk, is purchased at the bookstore. You will be asked for the validation disk three weeks into the semester, so put it in a safe place. ( If you lose your validation disk you will be required to purchase it again The course is structured so that you may work at a pace that is faster (but not slower) than that required by scheduled examination dates. Students are evaluated on content through online quizzes, approximately five written tests and a comprehensive final exam.

College algebra online is not for everyone. It is not easier than the on campus but I need you to communicate needs to me in order to help you best.
    http://www.carlalbert.edu/jwestfall/math1513/online_success.htm
Are you thinking about taking College Algebra online? PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CAUTION College Algebra online is not for everyone. It is not easier than the on campus version. If you have struggled with math classes in the past then this online class is probably not the answer for you. Here are a few characteristics of a successful student in the online College Algebra course. Very self motivated. After all you are the only true teacher you will have. As an online instructor, I am really not in front of you working examples as I would be in a traditional classroom, so you, the textbook and your tutor are the immediate resources at your disposal. Has a good grasp of computer use. The computer is the means of communication between the student and instructor. Online students are responsible for looking up assignments and due dates, taking tests, and accessing supplementary materials. Solid working knowledge of a computer and Internet technology is essential to success in an online course. Is not afraid to ask questions.
