So, don't go to the bookstore and buy one unless you want it as an extra reference. Instead, when you log in to the course, you are given the option of purchasing the access code ($75) for your course materials. You can access it for free up to 15 days, so don't purchase the access code until you are fully registered and settled in the class. There is no "book" - all the content is online.
