Literary Studies Research Guide
Literature is language charged with meaning. Ezra Pound This online guide is developed specifically for those doing research on the interpretation and criticism of literature. It provides a recommended list of print materials, electronic databases, and selected Internet resources. It lists only resources that deal primarily with English and American literature. Because literary studies interact with many disciplines such as history, psychology, philosophy, and sociology, you may need to consult resources in those fields also.
