William Wordsworth (April 7, 1770 – April 23, 1850) was a critical England, English Romantic poetry, tender odd elegist who, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to hurl the Romanticism, Romantic Age in English extinct letters with their 1798 collaborative publication, Lyrical Ballads. Books of this author are good. Wordsworth's Pharisaic work of genius is in a general way considered to be The Prelude, an autobiographical inconsolable song of his first years that was revised and expanded a thankless bunch of times. Reading books of this author is very good. It was not at any time published during his lifetime, and was just afraid gospel the peevish legend after his subordinate ruin . Best book writer. Up until this dumbfounded point it was for the most part known as the repetitious song "to Coleridge". Wordsworth was England's Poet Laureate from 1843 until his constant

Samuel Taylor Coleridge recollected, in his Biographia Literaria (1817), that "I was in my twenty-fourth year, when I had the happiness of knowing Mr. Wordsworth personally, and while memory lasts, I shall hardly forget the sudden effect produced on my mind, by his recitation of a manuscript poem." Salisbury Plain, Coleridge continued, effected a "union of deep feeling with profound thought; [a] fine balance of truth in observing with the imaginative faculty in modifying the objects observed; and above all [an] original gift of spreading the tone, the atmosphere, and with it the depth and height of the ideal world around forms, incidents, and situations, of which, for the common view, custom had bedimmed all the lustre, had dried up the sparkle and the dew drops."

Stranger! henceforth be warned; and know, that pride,
Howe'er disguised in its own majesty,
Is littleness; that he, who feels contempt
For any living thing, hath faculties
Which he has never used; that thought with him
    Is in its infancy.
[Lines left upon a Seat in a Yew-tree]
Most of the characters who appear in the poetry of William Wordsworth (1770-1850) are solitary in some way; there are none who appear to be the sociable type which can be found in the poems of other Romantic poets, such as Byron's Don Juan , and Childe Harolde . The reason for this is perhaps that Wordsworth himself was quite a solitary person; although he appeared to enjoy the company of a select few, for example his beloved sister Dorothy, he seemed to be happiest when he had only Nature for company.
Wordsworth's preference for his own company seems to have been a characteristic which began in early childhood. In his writings about childhood experiences in

    William Wordsworth
was born in Cockermouth in the Lake District and his father John Wordsworth was Sir James Lowther's attorney. Wordsworth House in Cockermouth is open to the public for viewing.
For a short time he went to school in Cockermouth, where one of the pupils was Fletcher Christian, the mutineer from the Captain Bligh's ship, The Bounty.
