Often appearing opposite his wife, Frankie Mann, Hall made a fine James II in the melodrama Hearts and the Highway (1915) and added dignity to such less than sterling efforts as The Sex Lure (1916), Alias Mrs. Jessup (1917), and the serial The Drake Case (1919). Less busy in the 1920s, Hall became an extra after the advent of sound and was spotted as late as 1943 playing a senator in the housing shortage comedy Government Girl.
