      Reviewed by Derek James

Once again Dozois has compiled over a quarter of a million words of what he considers the best short science fiction published last year , and with twelve Hugos for Best Editor under his belt, there's obvious reason to trust his judgment. The 26 stories represented in this nineteenth collection provide a representative cross-section of the current work in the field, including veterans and newcomers alike. Home REVIEW: Infinity Plus - The Anthology edited by Keith Brooke and Nick Gevers REVIEW SUMMARY : A commendable and worthwhile swan song for the Infinity Plus website. MY RATING BRIEF SYNOPSIS : An omnibus of two previously released anthologies containing a total of 26 sf/f stories. MY REVIEW
PROS
: 18 stories good or better, with 7 of those reaching excellence; a fine representation of what the Infinity Plus website had to offer.
CONS : 8 stories mediocre or worse.
BOTTOM LINE Infinity Plus - The Anthology offers stories that are both diverse and quite enjoyable. The Infinity Plus website was one of the first to offer free online fiction to science fiction and fantasy fans, way before it was ever in vogue. The site was the brainchild of Keith Brooke (and later co-edited with Nick Gevers and Paul Barnett) and just recently closed its virtual doors after a 10-year run that saw the publication of two anthologies: Infinity Plus One and Infinity Plus Two As a swan song, Solaris has released

II. MAGASINS OF THE COMMISSAIRE ORDONNATEUR
A. Chronology
M. deMesy began constructing a magasin on lot G in 1720. (See plans 720-2 and 720-4.) It was situated, in alignment, along the Rue St. Louis boundary. By June of 1721, the building had been completed and, apparently without waiting for royal approval, the King's provisions moved into the magasins* from Genier's storehouse, which was then destroyed. [3,5] In 1722, 120 barrels of beverages and potatoes and 600 quarts of flour, 6 tiers deep, were stored in one magasin. Other dry provisions and clothing were placed in the second magasin which also served as a distribution office. Lard, beef, molasses, and other supplies were stored in the basement. [6b] [* M. deMesy's storehouse was divided into two halves by a masonry partition. It was generally referred to in the plural, each half being considered a magasin. They are distinguished in this report as "north magasin" and "south magasin''.]
