Avec sa mère Son père : Louis Andrieux, 57 ans, un notable, procureur de la république à Lyon, puis député, préfet de police, et ambassadeur de France en Espagne. Sa mère : Marguerite Toucas, 24 ans. Elle fera passer Aragon pour le fils adoptif de sa mère et Andrieux pour son parrain. il part pour le front Puis, en 1924, pendant que Breton publie le « manifeste du surréalisme », Aragon, quand à lui, fait éditer « le Libertinage ». Pendant plusieurs années, Aragon est plongé dans le surréalisme. Il participe a diverses manifestations surréalistes, publie des recueils de poésie tel « le mouvement perpétuel », tout en continuant a être prosateur avec « Le paysan de Paris ». Il publie son manifeste, le « Traité du style ». en 1930 la défense de la culture Elsa Les années après guerres sont liées a L'histoire du PCF. Jusqu'a la mort d'Elsa en 1970, Aragon ne publiera plus de grandes œuvres polémiques...
