NOWCAP: Northwest Community Action Programs is a non-profit organization that has been serving families in Wyoming for the last thirty years. They provide the Parents as Teachers (PAT) component of the Parent Education Network for parents of children, birth through age five. PAT is a voluntary family education support program that begins prenatal and extends through age 5. The program is based on the beliefs that parents are their children's first and most influential teachers. PAT recognizes your family's strengths and that you are the expert on your child. Developmental activities are offered that encourage language development, intellectual growth, social development and motor skills.
