Two years ago, this international-now-based in Ottawa literary journal of bold new fiction would have arrived in 8½ by 11 magazine format complete with slick cover and ads. Kids Online Magazine!! Kids, submit your writing and art to the online magazine for kids and by kids! We did not set out to create a moneymaking machine, http://www.kidsonlinemagazine.com/sitesupport.html
Extractions: Click here to contact us Keeping Kids Online Magazine Alive! Our Goal At Kids Online Magazine, our main goal is to give children a fun and safe place to share their writing and artwork with other children all over the world, and to foster self-esteem and creative-thinking skills in the kids who participate. We did not set out to create a money-making machine, and we do not believe in forcing page after page of ads onto impressionable children. A Place for ALL Children We will never charge children to view our pages, and we will never charge children to have their stories and artwork published on our pages. This website is truly a site for all children, from the kids who have access to their computer at home, to the ones who surf the net at their school or local library. Quality and Safety That Comes With a Price We take pride in the fact that we read EVERY submission, and we contact each parent manually. We don't use computer programs that do this for us automatically, like many other sites on the web. This ensures that each story is appropriate for all audiences, and that it does not contain information that would allow someone to contact that child. It also ensures that we are actually contacting the child's parents or teacher for permission, and not a fake email address.
