BBC News | BUSINESS | UK Airlines 'need Government Aid' The UK's airline industry wants government money to safeguard jobs made vulnerable after the US terror attacks. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/business/newsid_1546000/1546994.stm
Extractions: Pilots' leaders are seeking government aid to help safeguard airline industry jobs and services made vulnerable by the US terror attacks. Airlines in Britain are facing the possibility of widespread job cuts as a result of increased costs for security, lower demand for flights and the knock-on effect of cancelled flights in recent days. The British Airline Pilots Association (Balpa) said airlines in the US are being given state funding to help them through difficulties facing the industry. Balpa Balpa general secretary Christopher Darke said British airlines of all sizes need similar support. "The airline industry is a strategic industry and like farming it needs help of a temporary nature to offset job losses and financial difficulties," he said. "The government should also join with Balpa and the rest of the industry to tell the British public that it is safe to fly and that Britain has among the highest standards of safety and security."

Extractions: (See: Art.1, Sec. 10) We started this organization in 1986, because we recognized that nearly every problem facing this country today could be solved by returning to the U.S. Constitution and other principles which guided our Founding Fathers. We are now introducing this organization to the Internet on July 4, 1999 in honor of our Founding Fathers, who declared their independence from a tyrannical government 223 years ago, with the hope that the power of the Internet will enable us to restore the principles for which they pledged their Lives, Fortunes, and Sacred Honor. We are combining the power of the Internet (Email) with the Supreme Law of the Land (The U.S. Constitution) to force our government to limit itself to doing only those things authorized by Article 1, Section 8 which delegates a few well defined duties to Congress. To remove all doubt as to their intentions the Founders added the 10th Amendment to the Constitution which said, "The powers not delegated to the United States..., are reserved to the States..., or to the people".

Valitsemine Essays on democracy, reform and the United States government. http://www.geocities.com/goo798_eh2/Valitsemine.html
Extractions: "Most people prefer to believe their leaders are just and fair even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which they live is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. To take action in the face of a corrupt government entails risks of harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one's self-image of standing for principles. Most people do not have the courage to face that choice. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all." Michaell Rivero Valitsemine is Estonian for government. There are different governments that exist in the world, however, the one that seems to get the most attention or the one that many countries want to emulate is the United States' government. However, contrary to popular belief, the government under which the United States currently operates is not a "democracy." Why not? Well, let's check out "Why" from KRS-One's "The Sneak Attack" album. The lyrics to the introduction are below: [KRS-One] Class in session. What, is, democracy?
