Mission Important Message to All Members - Please Read The SSDC normally holds dances on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month at the German American Club located at 25 W. 3rd in Spokane, Washington. An hour beginning lesson is offered before each dance. Suggested donations for the lesson and dance are $5.00 for members/$8.00 for non-members. Summer Hours: 6 pm lesson, 7-10 pm dance. (Summer/Winter hours coordinate with Daylight Savings) The club also offers workshops and mini-workshops throughout the year. Workshops are planned for both beginner as well as more advanced dancers. There are lots of people to dance with so don't stay away just because you don't have a partner! Credited for creating the first Lindy aerial, this Savoy Ballroom dancer was a member of Whitey's Lindy Hoppers, a founder of the Congoroos, and has performed and choreographed in several movies.
