Most Wanted Browser Features - ChunkySoup.net Opinion most wanted Browser Features. Its been a while since I ve read any bitching I want to deliver to visitors who override my sites page colors see below http://www.chunkysoup.net/opinion/mostwanted/
Extractions: Most Wanted Browser Features Its been a while since I've read any bitching about browsers. I feel it is a direct result of how good things are these days. That doesn't mean that browsers are all perfect yet. It just means that instead of an unqualified all browsers suck , I'm find myself frustrated with specific features remaining unsupported. What follows is a list of the things that bother me most at the moment, along with an attempt to classify which browsers are holding me back. These items came to the top of my list for two reasons. Most are on this list because they will make my life as a developer easier. Any feature that would save me from horrifyingly ugly hacks, or significant cross platform testing is a godsend. I'm also a bit of an idealist, especially when it comes to the original intent of web standards. I find myself cringing anytime I have to make a technology decision that detracts from a site's availability or accessibility, but ultimately I have to take my clients' priorities and demands above those of a potential site visitor. If there's something out there that will allow me to cater to both then I want it. I welcome any and all comments on the composition of this list. Think I missed something? Am I wrong in my evaluation or a particular browser? Think I should just start building Flash sites and give this whole crusade up?

The results of the survey prompted the president of the Canadian International Pharmacy Association (CIPA) to call for the phony sites to be shut down. The online survey was prepared for the FDA by Cyveillance , an online risk monitoring and management firm, and partially released Monday. It examined some 11,000 online pharmacy sites claiming to be Canada-based and found that just 1,009 actually sold prescription drugs and only 214 of those seemed to have Canadian origins.

The intent is to prepare students for productive careers and further learning. High Schools That Work represents a cost-effective way for states to join SREB and other states in offering high schools a proven framework of Goals and Key Practices for raising student achievement. The consortium meets three times annually to discuss progress in improving student achievement and to address issues of leadership, staff development, technical assistance and accountability. SREB and the states are partners in delivering services to member schools and in encouraging policy-makers to enact needed legislation and policies to improve high schools for all students. States sign a memorandum of understanding with SREB and agree to assume certain responsibilities associated with maintaining and developing a state network of school improvement sites.

Extractions: By Tina Phillips populations. To determine whether some of our less-reported species are actually as rare as they appear, we looked at long-term population monitoring databases. The US Geological Survey Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, offers a wealth of information on survey-wide population changes of bird species as recorded by the North American Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) Equally important to note is that the TBN database, although not able to tell that populations are changing, can help to diagnose why populations are changing through analysis of nesting success data. With continued data collection by TBN participants, we can acquire the amount and kind of information necessary to analyze why cavity-nesting bird populations are increasing or decreasing. Birdscope Nest box monitors who take that extra step in providing for the special requirements of these birds will be rewarded by knowing that, not only are they adding valuable information to science, they may actually be helping to promote conservation of these beautiful and lesser-reported species. We hope that in time, these efforts will increase not only the diversity of our database, but the diversity of our continent as well.
