This media server is available for live streaming media events as well as on-demand video. The on-demand media is either downloaded to your local computer or network, or streamed from the server to your local computer. This media service will assist educators in the presentation of their course and it provides another method to engage students by facilitating learning, communication and collaboration. The media service allows teachers to enhance existing (distance or in classroom) education courses by putting course content online to be viewed during school or at home.

Peter has spent the last two years in Norman, Oklahoma, where he worked for the Center for Applied Social Research at the University of Oklahoma first as an ethnographer and then as the Technology Coordinator for the Center. Both through the research projects at the Center and personal experience, he has gained an appreciation for the diverse and rich cultures and heritages of the many Native American tribes around the country. His experiences with museums, history, and Native American heritage led him to the position of Director of the Heritage Center at Red Cloud. He is very excited to be a part of the Red Cloud staff, and hopes to continue the tradition of excellence at the Heritage Center by advancing the knowledge and appreciation of Lakota arts and culture.
