The Ontario Recreational Canoeing Association (ORCA) is pleased to announce a Camp Canoeing Instructor (CCI) certification program for Ontario Camps in 2005. This new program will certify ORCA Camp Instructors to teach the ORCA Flatwater A and B programs in Ontario Camps at the waterfront. This CCI certification program will take two days instead of the traditional 5 days to train a new Flatwater Instructor. The cost of training will be significantly less than the traditional Flatwater Instructor course. This program is being introduced in response to concerns raised by the OCA about the time and cost constraints that Camps have. Be at least 16 years of age. Be employed by an OCA member youth camp.
