Dental Association Of Prince Edward Island 1891, the dental needs of the people of prince edward island was served by In 1902, this was amended and the prince edward Dental Society was http://www.dapei.ca/
Extractions: In 1904, the legislation was again amended and, at that time the sections relating to the assessment of qualifications were repealed and the self regulation powers of the council were established. The Council was now the body to determince qualifications for licensure and the regulation of the profession and government was no longer involved. Over time there were some minor changes to the legislation but in 1932 the entire act was modernized as well as incorporating the " Dental Association of PEI " and detailing more fully the by-laws. the regulatory body was still the Council but it was named a cou cil of the general membership. The legislation then changed very little until 1953 when it was altered to allow the licensing of dental hygienists and specialties of dentistry. In 1974 it was again opened and further regulations were added but there have been no further amendments to the present time. Outside legislative changes, through amendments to the by-laws, dental assistants were granted intra-oral duties and the Council, being the regulatory body was seperated totally from the professional association in 1985. With a part-time Registrar and for the first time, non dental lay persons were given representation on the regulating body. This seperation allowed there to be a visible split between the protection of the public and service to the profession of dentistry on PEI.

CanEHdian.com: Este Mundo - Los Elementos Review of the prince edward island, Canada based Spanish band's Los Elementos release. From CanEHdian.com http://www.canehdian.com/genre/world/a/estemundo/loselementos.html
Extractions: When asked, "What is Prince Edward Island music?", Canadians generally think of Stompin' Tom Conners or more recently, youthful fiddle player Richard Wood . One of the last things that comes to mind when one thinks of the land of Anne of Green Gables fame is Spanish guitar. Yet there it exists, in the guise of the performing group, Este Mundo. This group has just released their second CD, Los Elementos , a collection of classical Spanish guitar compositions that would not be out of place in Catalonian fields. Este Mundo seem to have suddenly emerged as a group worth of note in 1998. The release of their premiere CD, Isla Rosada , led to the group winning the 1999 East Coast Music Award for Instrumental Group of the Year. In 2000, members Paul Berard, Christopher Smith and Simon Moore continued with the release of Los Elementos , which garnered the group a nomination as Instrumental Group of the Year at the 2001 East Coast Music Awards and a performance as the opening act in the non-televised portion of the East Coast Music Awards Gala Award Show.

Greetings From PEI Antique postcards depicting prince edward island, Canada, in the early 1900's. http://hometown.aol.com/peipostcards/
Extractions: htmlAdWH('93212816', '728', '90'); Main Other Collectibles A few years ago, I inherited a collection of antique postcards. The ones from around the world were quite interesting, but what fascinated me were the ones from my own home province of Prince Edward Island. In some of them, I glimpsed sights I'd never seen - buildings long since demolished, fields and gardens long since planted over, industries no longer pursued. Others displayed scenes that you can see along any road on the Island today. Beguiled by these visions of a time long past, I've worked to enlarge and organize my collection. So, if you're interested in Island history, or if you just like the elegance of bygone times in a small province, welcome to my postcard collection. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Prince Edward Island: Fall Foliage Trails and tours for viewing fall foliage divided by region. http://www.gov.pe.ca/visitorsguide/explore/foliage/index.php3
Extractions: across the globe, who come to enjoy the Island's scenery, hospitality, and way of life. While many visitors focus on the summer months, more and more people are discovering the beauty of Prince Edward Island's Fall landscape. They have come to appreciate the colour of autumn leaves, the harvest of crops, the fragrance of clear, pure air, and the rhythm of a people in tune with the cycles of the seasons, the land, the forest, and the sea. The forests of eastern North America are distinctive by world standards because of their brilliance and variety of fall colours and PEI's forests are no exception. On Island hills and ridges, sugar maple leaves turn vibrant apricot-orange and mix with the fiery scarlet-reds of red maple, cherry, and sumac. These reds and oranges are complimented by the brilliant yellows of poplar, birch and beech, and offset by the rich emerald greens of fragrant softwoods such as spruce, pine and fir. The warm waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Northumberland Strait have a moderating influence on PEI's climate and help to create one of the longest fall foliage viewing periods in northeastern North America. In most years, PEI offers many different fall foliage viewing opportunities from
