    Extractions: Bird Bath Choose a level spot beneath a tree branch or some other overhanging structure. Arrange some flat rocks in a plastic trash can lid and fill with about 2 inches of water. Set the bath securely on a tree stump, rock or pedestal of cinder blocks. Using a pushpin, poke a hole or two in the bottom of a plastic bottle and suspend the bottle a few feet over the bath, using some string or fishing line. The water should drip steadily but not flow out of the hole, since birds are attracted to the sound of gentle dripping. Washcloth Bunny First, place a washcloth on a tabletop and evenly roll two diagonally opposite corners toward the middle. Fold the rolled washcloth in half. Fold the cloth in half a second time and wrap the rubber band around the second fold to form the bunny's head. Gently pull apart the rolled ends that extend above the rubber band so that they resemble rabbit ears. Next, glue googly eyes onto the face and a small pom-pom in place for a nose. Glue a large white pom-pom onto the back of the original fold to serve as a cottony tail, and the bunny is finished. Slime Mix 1 cup water with 2 tablespoons 20 Mule Team Borax (laundry detergent). Stir until detergent dissolves. Pour in 4 tablespoons white craft glue (Elmer's or equivalent). Use fingers to knead and press glue for 5 minutes. Remove lump of glue from water and place into a small empty dish. Add 3 drops of food coloring. Knead until mixed well. Store in a sealed container to avoid drying. For a slimier texture, use less detergent. For a thicker texture, add more detergent. Avoid contact with carpet and fabrics.
