Seeing as the world has "technically" been "destroyed" at this point in the story I think I take a break and go back to explain a few of the details. Here is the tale of how the world became flat. Our story begins in the sixth eternity... Shortly after the Third Nuclear World War in the 5th eternity the majority of life on Earth ceased to be. Then for inexplicable (at the time) and seemingly random reasons the world became flat. We now understand how it happened... Fleeing from the radiation a platoon of portly polygamous platypi left the planet Earth. Just to fill in those of you know, platypi had been capable of space travel since the third eternity. Anyway, heading southbound, turns out there actually is direction in space, they took the I-64 exit Ned (Ned and Fred are directions on the third axis that exist in space travel). This exit, as I am sure you are aware, heads towards a very nice resort on Neptune. Wow, I got a bit sidetracked there, anyway one of these platypi had left the stove on. The Platypus had been cooking a traditional platypus dish (I don't think you want me to go into the details of what platypi eat) and it sort of "exploded."

In the first inning Ice Breakers Angie Santos started the offense with a double to center field and scored after a bad throw by the Peelers. Ashley Schmutzler added a solid single in the 3rd and was driven in by Kirsten Moran. Erin Dickerhoff led the Peelers offense, getting 2 hits, including a triple, and an RBI. Meagan Tokunaga and Maddie Cousens provided the Peelers with sparkling defense. Tokunaga played a flawless infield, recording 4 put outs, and Cousens threw out 2 runners trying to steal. Cousens also had an RBI. Peelers Fiona Riley and Kelsey Murakami pitched courageously, keeping the potent Ice Breakers bats under control.
