The society seeks to promote Palestinian physicists at the professional and societal levels. It will boost scientific and research cooperation between Palestinian physicists in Palestine and all over the world at all levels. T he Palestinian Physical Society was founded in 1994 due to the efforts of Palestinian physicists in Palestine who are interested in the welfare of physics in Palestine. A board committee was created with its own bylaws. The committee is made of seven members, holding doctorate or masters degrees in physics, and who are elected once every two years. The committee organizes a few activities including annual meetings, which consist of general physics lectures, and educational conferences usually held every other year.
