Independent Racing Season Starts Under Cloud Of Proposed Hunting Ban Mick Connaughton. This year could be the last that pointto-pointing takes place in its traditional format, as it has always relied heavily on voluntary labour from the local fox hunt to man the car parks, sell racecards and the hundred other tasks required to make a meeting run smoothly.
