Thousands of parents, teachers and students participated in the first ever Warning Signs for Parents forum, featuring Dr. Russ Newman, APA's executive director for professional practice, and Dr. Pam Fisher of the Oklahoma Psychological Association. During the forum, a portion of the Warning Signs documentary was screened, followed by a dynamic dialogue with the audience about ways parents can talk to their children about violence and other important issues.

The library is open to the public 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday*. Services of the library include: Reference materials for students, teachers, parents, and others; Books, pamphlets, and other materials for sale; A-V loaner library with hundreds of videos, models, flip charts, and contraception demonstration kits for check-out by teachers and other professionals; and A-V materials designed for people with developmental disabilities, including slide shows, videos, the Circles curriculum, and others. Library materials cover a broad range of subjects, including HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy, population issues, adoption, abortion, parenting, healthy pregnancy, abuse issues, teen sexuality, women?s health issues, and much, much more. Rental fees for most a-v materials range from $3.00 to $20.00. Use of library reference materials is free, as are on-site previews of our videos. It is good to make requests for a-v materials as far in advance as possible. A list of a-v materials in the library is available by request.
