Extractions: The USDA Rural Development Cooperative programs staff can help rural residents who are trying to form new agricultural or non-agricultural cooperative businesses or to improve the operations of existing cooperatives by providing technical assistance, conducting cooperative related research, and producing information products to promote public understanding of cooperatives. Anyone interested in forming a new cooperative, or improving an existing marketing, purchasing, or service cooperative, can receive assistance with informal feasibility studies and the creation and implementation of a business plan.
