Extractions: Back to Gold Key Home The Columbia Scholastic Press Association presented the 1999 recipients of its Gold Key at a reception and ceremony at The New York Marriott Marquis, located at 1535 Broadway at 45th St. in New York City. The ceremony will be part of the events of the CSPA's two annual conventions-the 21st College Media Convention, co-sponsored by College Media Advisers, and the 75th Scholastic Convention. The Gold Keys are awarded annually to outstanding educators for their work to advance the cause of the student press. The Association, international in scope, is sponsored by Columbia University and offers assistance to student newspapers, magazines and yearbooks at colleges and secondary schools.
