As a result of this adaptation, the program has been strengthened with the participation of diverse Faculties, Schools and Institutes. Academic activities Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the study of the aquatic systems and their frontiers, the program includes four basic subjects, they offer the student an integral vision of the processes of the ocean and the aquatic systems in general. This interdisciplinary focus provides to the future researchers a common formation that will allow them to establish the necessary collaboration between specialists of the different areas of the Marine and Limnological Sciences. The basic subjects are selected according to the particular student's interests, configuring his or her specific basic formation to the investigation project and their future specialty.
